Sports Technologies, LLC, based in Collinsville, Connecticut, was formed in 2006 by a small team of former ESPN.com employees and other Internet veterans. The company’s mission is to create world-class Web technologies that allow fans to share their passions for sports, entertainment, finance and other categories.
Sports Technologies launched FanNation.com in September 2006. Today, FanNation.com, part of the SI.com network, is the leading sports community on the Internet. The site provides up-to-date information in a community setting with a user-friendly design. Users, the Fans, blog about anything and everything in sports, network with other sports fans, create groups of interest, track favorite players and teams, and communicate with friends.
Sports Technologies partners with some of the leading brands in sports. Our primary business is licensing our technology to companies who want to provide users with a platform that drives communication and competition through easy-to-play games, aggregated news, and communtity tools.
